School Uniform

Heart of the Forest Community Special School uniform is available to parents. KS1 & KS2 wear red sweatshirts and KS3 & KS4 wear navy blue containing the school logo. Polo shirts can be white or navy blue. Bottoms can be black or grey. These items can be purchased from the school uniform shop as detailed below or from a shop of your choice.

All clothing and personal belongings should be named.

Parents/Guardians are requested to ensure that pupils are suitably dressed for school in comfortable, washable and manageable clothes, this could be school trousers or skirts joggers or leggings. and to provide an outdoor coat.

Pupils participating in Physical Education activities should have an appropriate kit, navy or black shorts, white polo shirt/ tee shirt, plimsolls or trainers, and a bag in which to keep it.

Pupils on toileting programmes should bring a complete change of clothing with them each day, together with an appropriate number of pads.

If parents have given permission for swimming, swimwear and a towel should be sent in on a relevant day.

Trampolining requires long trousers, long sleeves and socks.

Jewellery, with the exception of sleeper earrings should not be worn to school as it can be dangerous, but also because we are unable to guarantee that it will not get lost or broken.
